A few reminders:

Please remember to bring with you each day:

Your child’s named water bottle containing water only.
To avoid choking please ensure grapes and mini sausages are cut lengthwise.
FRUBES – we politely request to not have these brought into pre-school. Children use their mouths to try and open them and they are usually all wet and damaged by the time we are asked to help! They also get squeezed and spill everywhere! Please do send little yoghurt/fromage frais pots and a spoon instead if possible. (we don’t have spoons here, we will help ensure your child re-packs their spoon to bring home)
Please ensure your child’s belongings are clearly named, including clothing & water bottles!
Please do not bring in toys from home (including soft toys). It is difficult to monitor where these are taken/hidden/dropped) and if in their bags they obstruct the children’s access to other things they need.
A bag containing a change of clothes for your child if possibly needed and named clothing as appropriate for the weather (fleece/jumper/wellies/sunhat and suncream). Nappies/wipes if needed.
We go outside daily, so a named coat is necessary
If someone different is collecting your child, please let us know that day who is collecting as we will not be able to let them leave if we have not been told, due to safeguarding.

We have an adequate car park adjacent to our building. Please take care and drive slowly at all times, we often walk to the play park. Please park with consideration and do not park in the disabled spaces unless you are a blue badge holder. Please note the car park can get very busy around 8.30am to 8.50am due to it being used as a park and stride by St James school parents.

We do have a late collection charge for those who are five minutes late or more to collect their child. For many reasons it is important that you try to be on time at pick up time . We understand that you can be unavoidably delayed and will of course keep your child safe if you are late. The charge is made to deter this happening more often.
